When Subscribers apply for and receive the Discount Plus Card, they have to pay an activation fee of CDN$10 before they can use the card. The activation fee is deducted when you first load funds onto the Card and is required to activate the Card.

No. The Lenders Group Discount Plus Card expires after three years. After year three, a new card will be issued to you, at that time, you will have to pay a renewal/activation fee to activate the new Card.

However, there are fees for using your Card at Scotiabank ATMs Worldwide as follows: Up to the first CDN$250, the fee is CDN$1 per transaction.
